Why DMH Exists – “House Concerts of Inspiration”
It’s so incredibly hard to believe that we are all hearing back to school commercials on TV! This summer seemed to fly by faster than any other. It was nearly two years ago when I just picked our space in Waterdam Plaza and began planning and construction of David’s Music House. Our incredible venue was designed by Mark Studeny, all the uniquely designed artwork, color scheme, flooring design and the awesome vinyl records 3D dimensionally mounted throughout the place. Everyone who enters tell us two things….“It looks incredible” and “It feels just like being in our own living room!”
Everyone at DMH is gearing up for the end of summer, ramping up for the fall music program. We are adding new amazing teachers to our staff all the time, expanding the times available to music lessons. We strive to bring the most unique venue of music learning around. We do so much more than provide great music lessons. We provide “A Total Music Experience”, from 5 lesson rooms, 6 days a week, and an ever expanding staff of teachers to provide the largest amount of lesson times available in the area. Additionally, we are the ONLY Center of Music Learning that provides a large stage for students to perform impromptu concerts or enjoy a professionally touring musician perform an “Inspirational Concerts” in our Big Living Room Coffee House setting.
Our teachers strongly encourage DMH students and their families to take advantage of our weekly House Concerts of Inspiration. These concerts are KEY to the path of music development. A family can come to our Saturday night concerts and feel comfortable to bring all ages to performances that are the quality of any major concert venue. In addition, students are watching the professionals, close up and personal, as they see what they can become and ask all the questions of how they do what they do.
This professional – student connection is something that cannot be found anywhere else in music teaching businesses! This is what David’s Music House was created for….”Inspiration and Mentoring”. We also provide all the knowledge of all the steps along that way…how to perform on stage, how to use a microphone properly, how to perform for an audience. We also provide songwriting workshops and a professional recording studio where you can record your music for family and friends and if you choose to write your own music, we are there to help you record your first CD and then how to promote yourself and your music.
Our House Concerts of Inspiration bring a variety of solo singer/songwriters, songwriters in the round, jazz bands, country bands, bluegrass bands, folk artists, solo vocalists, music teacher performance nights, acoustic jams, art shows, novel book author events and anything we can find to enrich the community’s lovers of music and the arts.
We are your “Total Music Experience”!
