Coffee House Settings

Our Coffee House Setting with lots of soft seating offers a great selection of specialty coffees, teas, beverages and cocoas as well as various snacks. All Student Families can enjoy FREE coffee or tea.

The Coffee House Setting provides a great waiting area for parents. We have board games, checkers and FREE WiFi. We like to call it our “Big Living Room at ‘da House”. It also just happens to provide the BEST way to teach our students how to perform for an audience.

DMH Students have the ability to perform as often as they want and can schedule with their teacher’s guidance. They are welcome to invite the family and even their friends to come and see them perform in a REAL Coffee House setting!

We occasionally will feature scheduled events of Independent recording artists and area musicians to perform for and with our students, which serves as a great source of inspiration. Performance Training is a key part of Learning at DMH, so we encourage teachers to take our students on stage during lessons or schedule them for teachable open stage events…

all geared toward the goal of performing at a Student Showcase, which displays students who have gained more experience performing and have achieved  a more polished entertaining skill level. We feel that reaching for goals in a non competitive way will help students want to improve and yet discover a supportive nature and give help and inspiration to other students.

“I feel strongly about mentoring and leading students by example to learn to be caring and supportive but with humility…all through the best communications tool known…MUSIC!” – David
