Natalie Compel - DMH Student of the Week - May 12 - 18
Natalie began playing the tuba at the beginning of this school year. She has made excellent progress on this instrument by transferring all of her prior knowledge of the French Horn to this massive new undertaking. She has done very well and continues to show enthusiasm and dedication to her section and the band as a whole.She has a positive attitude in lessons and is always prepared. She works on her assigned pieces and excerpts and brings attention to spots she needs extra guidance on in her school band music. She accepts feedback positively and strives to make changes quickly and effectively
Natalie is a joy to teach and is always ready to tell a good story. Her enthusiasm will carry her far in music and in all of her other pursuits.
