What a journey it has been. This October marks 16 years since we first opened the doors of David's Music House — 16 years of music, of growth, and of watching this community become a family.
When we began, I had no idea all that God had in store for us. Year after year, student after student, family after family, something beautiful kept unfolding. And here we are, 16 years later, still just as grateful — maybe more — for every person who has walked through our doors.
At DMH, the lesson room is only the first step. Yes, we teach notes, rhythm, technique, and musicianship. But through the Power of Music, we are really building something deeper. We help our students grow in confidence. We nurture kindness, because music teaches us to encourage one another. We build humility, because every musician, no matter their skill, is always learning. And we practice thankfulness and respect — the CORE values that shape not just better musicians, but better people.
None of this would be possible without our incredible Music Mentors, who pour their hearts into every lesson, and our wonderful employees, whose dedication keeps everything running — and without you, the students and families who have trusted us over these 16 years. You are the heart of David's Music House.
As we celebrate this milestone, I'm reminded that we are only in the middle of this journey. There is so much more music to make, so many more lives to touch, so much more kindness to bring into this world through each student who joins our family.
And we are only just getting started. We are looking ahead with so much excitement — to new ideas, new opportunities, and new ways to share the joy of music with even more families. The best is yet to come, and we cannot wait to keep growing, dreaming, and making music together with you.
Thank you for 16 wonderful years. Here's to the music still to come.
